Overview
The Hall has excellent facilities for both children’s and adult’s parties, wedding and conference functions, business meetings, fitness classes, arts & crafts sessions and more.
Offering three distinct spaces that can be used independently or in combination, the large Barn, The Cart Shed and upstairs The Gallery mezzanine area, along with a catering Kitchen and the stylish connecting Lobby, the Hall is particularly versatile and accommodating of multiple uses.

The Barn, the main hall, is 15.8 metres long by 8.5 metres wide with a vaulted ceiling making it very light and airy.
It has a heated sprung timber floor which is ideal for fitness and wellbeing activities such as Pilates, Yoga and dance classes. It is also ideal for performance events, exhibitions, weddings, children’s parties and any larger gathering. Customers can also rent out a corporate audio visual hire if needed for their event.
It can accommodate up to 100 people seated at tables or up to 125 seated in rows for stage performances, conferences, seminars etc. For this, partition walls by this company are set up.
There is a service door from the Kitchen direct to the Barn if required and the external doors can be opened to make use of the adjacent patio and the grassed area beyond, giving great additional space in good weather.
Cart Shed
Measuring 9m x 4.5m, The Cart Shed has lots of north facing natural daylight from the wrap-around windows. It is perfect for business meetings, social groups, arts & crafts, smaller dining functions and children’s group activities.
Tables and chairs can be arranged in a variety of layouts to suit gatherings of up to 20 people.
Bi-fold glass doors to the Lobby can be fully closed for a private, quiet space or with the doors fully opened up, it can be utilised in conjunction with the Lobby to make a very spacious area.
There is a sink hidden behind the sliding cupboard doors, adding to the versatility of The Cart Shed for arts & crafts and children’s activities in particular.
Gallery
Upstairs, the large and light Gallery is a mezzanine room with a glass balustrade and sloped ceiling, looking over to the large Lobby & Bar below.
It is often used alongside The Barn or The Cart Shed, or even just with The Lobby, and adds extra space and atmosphere to larger events.
It is also perfect as a break-out area for business or community meetings, a great space for more informal classes and meetings, and a lovely exhibition space.
Lobby
Much more than simply an entrance to the rest of the building, our Lobby is a striking, full-height spacious & stylish space of its own. It offers a useful addition when used alongside other parts of the building, or occasionally on its own.
The Lobby is ideal for social uses, for a drinks reception, as a quieter area to a larger event or for community gatherings. It is frequently used by our regular Community activities – Coffee Mornings, Pop Up Pub and Farmer’s Market.
Our Bar is housed in The Lobby, a service that can be provided for functions that require it.
Kitchen
The spacious, well equipped professional catering style kitchen provides an excellent facility for events and functions, either by the hirer or their caterers.
Equipment includes a large refrigerator, freezer, large oven & hob, grill, warming cupboard, dishwasher and prep space.
Hire of the Kitchen includes table crockery, cutlery and glasses.
There is a service door directly from the Kitchen into The Barn, if required.
Kitchenette
Shared by users of all the rooms, the Kitchenette is a very practical, small but well equipped tea-making & basic serving facility, hidden behind folding doors in the Lobby.
Mugs and cups & saucers, microwave, sink, water boiler & kettles plus under-counter fridge and small counter space are all provided.
Performance Space and Staging
The Hall has various flexible options. The demountable staging can be entirely level or has multiple configurations of shape, height and position. It is quick and easy to assemble and take down. Stage exits can be created direct to a back stage dressing room area if required.
Car Parking
There is hard surface car parking for 20 cars including disabled spots at the front of the hall.
Overflow parking is available on the grass area depending on weather conditions.
Alcohol and Catering
We are licensed for music and performance and have a trustee managed alcohol licence.
Disabled Facilities
Disabled car parking spaces are available a the front of the building and there is full access to the entire ground floor.
The building is equipped with a Hearing Loop.
Outdoor Space
Outside space extends the views and provides for grass based activities, field sports or a summer evening drinks reception.
The children’s playground is adjacent.
